Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gail Roth (ranked 5476 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kolompar Ronaldo (ranked 8008 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Gail Roth!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kolompar Ronaldo!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ronaldo shoots in and bounces Roth off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Roth uses the cage to get back to his feet.

Ronaldo closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Ronaldo's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Ronaldo darts in and clinches Roth up against the cage.
Roth has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ronaldo after a bit of a struggle.

Roth gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Roth takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Roth working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Roth looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Ronaldo with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ronaldo can do anything to dispel that myth.

Roth will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Ronaldo pushes Roth off looking to stand but Roth dives back in and keeps control.

Ronaldo really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Roth. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Ronaldo flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Ronaldo is trying to control but Roth manages to pass to mount!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Roth fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ronaldo can't escape the position.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Roth postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Ronaldo looks a forlorn figure.

Roth lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.



Roth gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Roth pushes Ronaldo off and gets back to his feet.

Roth gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Ronaldo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Roth is wriggling around but Ronaldo manages to pass to half guard.

Roth has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Ronaldo. Oh but Roth has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Ronaldo goes limp - he's gone! Roth jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Gail Roth!
