Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bruno Dias (ranked 5246 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daeng Rurung (ranked 3903 p4p, 0 weight class). Dias kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is All Eyez On Me. Rurung has chosen Rise as his entrance music. Daeng Rurung is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dias smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Rurung takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Rurung shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.

Rurung closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dias to the mat! Dias manages to get full guard.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Rurung lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Dias has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Dias and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

The crowd cheers as Dias lands an impressive looking overhand right. Rurung doesn't seem phased though.

Nice takedown defense from Dias. No joy for Rurung on that attempt.

Rurung breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dias stalks Rurung and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Rurung's face. Rurung staggers backwards, shaken.
Dias feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Rurungs jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Rurung darts in looking for a takedown but Dias gets double underhooks and turns Rurung into the cage.

Rurung shoots in looking for a takedown but Dias manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Rurung's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Rurung shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Dias napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Dias pushes Rurung away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Rurung gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Rurung wants to lay and pray for a moment but Dias keeps working.

In his post fight interview, Daeng Rurung started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
