Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lando Nallo (ranked 1773 p4p, 269 weight class) and Mike Kyle (ranked 3428 p4p, 453 weight class). Nallo comes to the cage accompanied by Fort Battle - Trevor Jones. Kyle has chosen Barbie Girl as his entrance music. Mike Kyle has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Lando Nallo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mike Kyle!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nallo keeps the fight on the outside.
Kyle misses with a head kick.
Nallo looks to land a left hand but Kyle moved out of range nicely.
Kyle tries to clinch up
and Nallo counters with a single leg into guard. Kyle didn't expect that.
Kyle looking for a sweep. Not yet Kyle, not yet.
Kyle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Nallo controls the pace.
Nallo has gone for a leg lock! Kyle slips out almost immediately though and dives into Nallo's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nallo kicks Kyle off and gets to his feet.
Kyle fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Kyle leaves Nallo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

I was talking to Nallo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Kyle is struggling to control the position.
Kyle lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Lando Nallo has been cut.
A nice left hand lands by Kyle.
Kyle lands an uppercut.
Kyle has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Nallo after a bit of a struggle.
Kyle scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Nallo lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kyle or not.

Kyle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Nallo manages to get himself to full guard.

Kyle wants to stand but Nallo is controlling his posture from full guard.

Kyle is pressing down on Nallo's thigh, looking to free his foot. Nallo is holding on for now.
Kyle working over Nallo with some ground and pound. Nallo looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Kyle is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Kyle tries to stand and escape but Nallo is controlling the position.

Nallo wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Kyle gets to his feet. Nallo looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Nallo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Kyle is looking to improve his position.
Kyle is trying to stand.
Kyle gets back to full guard.
Nallo trying to control but Kyle is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Nallo passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Kyle is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Nallo has just dragged him back down to the mat.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Kyle dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Lando Nallo's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Nallo shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kyle sprawls well. Kyle wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Nallo gets slowly back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Nallo.
Nallo bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Kyle has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Nallo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Kyle as he avoids it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lando Nallo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kyle closes the distance and clinches.

Nallo has a couple of punches blocked by Kyle.
Kyle pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Nallo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kyle.

Kyle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Nallo to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Nallo stops Kyle from standing up.
Kyle looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nallo is one step ahead there.
Lando Nallo overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Kyle wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Nallo passes into half guard.
Nallo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kyle doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Nallo.
Kyle regains full guard. Nicely done.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Kyle wants to stand up but Nallo is controlling him.
Nallo sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Kyle wants to stand but Nallo is controlling the position.
Nallo with a flurry of punches that miss.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Nallo wants to pass the guard but Kyle is keeping the position.
Kyle lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Kyle wants to control from the top but Nallo keeps moving.
Nallo throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Nallo is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kyle throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nallo's body to avoid the submission. Nallo has instead reached around Kyle's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nallo arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Lando Nallo!

Mike Kyle spoke after the fight, saying 'This guy stinks? Why this guy? Have you even seen my record? No way this guy wins!!!'.
