Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jonathan Sharpe (ranked 7950 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Wilson (ranked 5333 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Paul Tew and Colin Fotheringham.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sharpe shoots in for a double leg but Wilson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Wilson walks into a left hand.
Wilson fails to land with a series of punches.
Wilson looks to land a combination. Sharpe sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Wilson throws a nice looking combination but Sharpe bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Sharpe thinks about countering with a head kick.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Sharpe takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson lands a lovely overhand right.
Sharpe shoots in looking for a takedown. Wilson tries to sprawl out of it but Sharpe keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wilson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Sharpe misses with a low kick.
Mark Wilson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Wilson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Sharpe manages to avoid it.

Wilson tries to keep at a distance but Sharpe has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sharpe landing knees to the body.
Sharpe really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
A left hand lands to the body for Sharpe.

Wilson manages to break the clinch.
Sharpe feints and then cracks Wilson's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Wilson down.
Wilson throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Sharpe.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Wilson swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Sharpe.
Sharpe throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wilson's waist but Wilson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sharpe off to one side.
Despite the aggression on Wilson's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jonathan Sharpe. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Sharpe shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Wilson is trying to escape back to his feet but Sharpe uses the scramble to pass into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sharpe landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Sharpe looks up at the clock and then as Wilson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Sharpe smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Sharpe looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Wilson is avoiding damage well.
Sharpe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Wilson is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Sharpe take his back! Uh oh - Sharpe has got a rear naked choke here! Wilson is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!
