Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Donald Cross (ranked 7517 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Shiina (ranked 5541 p4p, 0 weight class). Shiina has chosen Gurren Lagaan OST - To Hell with Gattai!! as his entrance music. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cross throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Cross lands with a thumping leg kick.
Cross lands a jab-cross combination.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Shiina enables Cross to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shiina manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Cross sitting in guard, not really doing much.

Shiina is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cross defends well.
Cross not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Cross avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Cross knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Shiina on the ground.

Cross slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Cross postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Shiina throws his legs up looking for a submission but Cross uses it to pass to side control.
Shiina tries to bench press Cross off him but Cross keeps the position.
Shiina is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Cross off and has taken his back!

Cross is trying to defend against the choke here but Shiina has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Shiina Tightens the hold and Cross taps out furiously! Shiina displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
