Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Samuel Nti (ranked 983 p4p, 41 weight class) and Road Block (ranked 1779 p4p, 76 weight class). Block has chosen The Motherfucking G.I. Joe Theme. as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Samuel Nti!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Road Block!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Phil Schofield and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nti tries to clinch there but Block circles away.
Block looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Nti throws a shot from downtown. Block moves away and avoids it.
Nti cracks Block with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Block closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Nti to the mat! Nti manages to get full guard.
Block being controlled here momentarily.
Nti definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Nti seems keen to control Block's posture.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Block stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nti swivels though and keeps the full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nti is on top in guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Nti is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Block in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Block trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Block with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Nti is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.

Block is in close to Nti's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Nti is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Nti manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Block manages to get himself to full guard.

Block is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Block has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Nti controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Nti not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Nti stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Nti wants it to stay on the feet.
Block looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Nti is fending him off so far but Block persists. Nope, Nti circles away and we're back to standing.
Block fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Road Block dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Block takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

Block shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Block thows a huge punch but Nti dodges it nicely.

Block looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Nti with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Nti wants to get back to full guard.
Nti slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Nti pulls Block in close to his closed guard and prevents Block from doing any damage or advancing position.
Block postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nti is pulling down on Block's head. It's preventing any offense from Block, at least for the moment.

Block has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Nti has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

It looks like Samuel Nti has been cut.

Block is pushing down on Nti's leg trying to pass to half guard. Nti is fighting to maintain full guard but Block has managed to sneak the leg through.
Nti scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Block manages to mount him!
Road Block has got the better of the ground game so far.
Nti tries to hold on but Block pushes him away.
Block is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Nti is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Samuel Nti's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Road Block!
