The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cotton changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Duarte looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Duarte sneaks back into half guard.
Duarte is trying to control but can't.
Cotton is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Duarte moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Cotton is sitting in close to Duarte's body. Duarte has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Cotton is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Cotton is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Duarte.
