The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hockley misses with a few strikes there.
Bourdeau is looking to clinch but Hockley is avoiding it.

Hockley swats away the attempt to clinch by Bourdeau.

Hockley swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Joe Hockley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hockley stuns Bourdeau with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Bourdeau closes the distance and clinches up with Hockley, looking for a takedown. Bourdeau pushes Hockley against the cage but Hockley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Hockley moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Hockley lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Bourdeau circles away quickly and effectively.
Bourdeau moves in looking to clinch but Hockley pushes him off.
Hockley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Hockley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hockley looks gassed!

Bourdeau shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Bourdeau is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hockley sees it coming and defends easily.
