Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Williams!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Roger Salmon and Jeff Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Noneya looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Williams is fending him off so far but Noneya persists. Nope, Williams circles away and we're back to standing.
Williams shoots in for a double leg but Noneya sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Williams shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Noneya as he avoids it easily.
Noneya is looking for a counter combo.
Noneya throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Williams.
A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target.
Jake Noneya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Noneya tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Williams defends well and Noneya ends up having to push Williams into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Williams blocks a head kick by Noneya.
A left lands for Williams.
Williams circles away from the clinch attempt.
Despite the aggression on Williams's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Noneya defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Williams.
Jake Noneya has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dan Williams.

Noneya pulls guard.
Williams throws a strike but Noneya rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Williams is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Noneya is controlling him.
Williams has momentary wrist control but Noneya slips an elbow through the middle.
Noneya stops Williams from standing up.
Williams working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Noneya.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Noneya trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Noneya is breathing heavily.
Williams misses with a series of wild punches.
A telegraphed right hand from Williams misses the target.

Noneya drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Williams throws Noneya to one side and escapes!

and Williams counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Williams scores with a jab.
Williams fails with a takedown attempt.
Williams jabs at Noneya's body.
The crowd cheers as Williams lands an impressive looking overhand right. Noneya doesn't seem phased though.

Noneya gets caught flat footed, as Williams shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.


Noneya is rocked!
Williams is in close to Noneya's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Oh Noneya is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Williams loads up on a big left hand. Noneya felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Williams looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Noneya can't hide his disappointment, as Williams celebrates the victory.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dan Williams!
