Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Phelan Whelan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Petteri Koskiaho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koskiaho is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by In Flames - Take This Life. On his way into the cage it seems that Phelan Whelan has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Phelan Whelan seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whelan stuffs the takedown.
Whelan tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Koskiaho throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Whelan's waist but Whelan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Koskiaho off to one side.
Petteri Koskiaho seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Whelan changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Koskiaho looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Whelan decides to stand up, so the ref orders Koskiaho to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Whelan throws and low kick but Koskiaho moves out of range easily.

Koskiaho has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Koskiaho there as he acknowledges the shot.
