The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Meeks misses its intended target.
Zexy lands a slapping body shot.
Meeks scores with a hook to the body. Zexy takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
Meeks lands the left hand.
Nice straight punches there by Meeks. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Meeks.
Zexy throws a nice looking combination but Meeks bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Meeks scores with a decent looking hook.
Zexy blocks a jab.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Zexy! But no joy.
Meeks scores with a body shot.
Meeks misses the shot to the body.
Zexy punishes Meeks's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Meeks cracks Zexy with an open hand slap.
Meeks moves into range and connects with a jab.
Zexy looks for the body kick but Meeks saw that one coming.
Donk. Meeks catches Zexy right on the button with a cross.
Meeks feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Zexy's calf.
Zexy is looking to clinch but Meeks is avoiding it.
A counter left hand to the body from Meeks misses its target.
Meeks takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Zexy fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Meeks manages to avoid it.
Zexy displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Meeks throws out the jab.

Zexy pushes Meeks up against the cage in a clinch.
Zexy wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Meeks has him pressed against the cage.

Meeks escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Zexy tries a head kick but it misses.
Meeks lands with an overhand left.

Meeks drops Zexy with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Zexy looks back up at him and smiles so Meeks waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Zexy is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Nice body kick there by Meeks.
Zexy is still on wobbly legs! Can Meeks finish him?
Zexy looks winded!
Meeks cracks Zexy on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Zexy falls backwards against the cage. Meeks follows up with more strikes that drop Zexy to his knees. Meeks keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Zexy! This one is all over!
