The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paulson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Paulson throws a jab but it's blocked by Slasher.

Slasher moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Paulson bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Slasher wants to clinch up but Paulson keeps it at a distance.
Slasher jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Slasher takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Paulson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Paulson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slasher was well out of range. Poor timing from Paulson.
Paulson throws a hook to the side of Slasher's head but Slasher sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Paulson has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Slasher walks into a straight right hand from Paulson.
Paulson keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Slasher.
A looping hook to the body misses from Slasher. Paulson does a little dance to reset his feet.
Slasher takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Slasher seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

A decent looking cross lands there for Paulson.
Slasher steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Paulson.

Slasher uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Paulson.

and Paulson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Slasher connects with a right hand. Paulson shakes it off.
Slasher ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Slasher keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Slasher lands a body shot.
Slasher shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Paulson eats them both and turns towards Slasher to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.

Paulson is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Slasher creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Paulson's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Paulson drops to his knees and Slasher pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
