Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Balor Fino (ranked 3148 p4p, 171 weight class) and Gruff Dragon (ranked 5537 p4p, 268 weight class). Fino comes to the cage accompanied by Torso fuck - Raped by Elephants. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Balor Fino!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gruff Dragon!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fino scores with a shot to the body.
Dragon throws a head kick but Fino moves out of range.
Fino seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Dragon slips under a jab from Fino.
Dragon fails with an attempt to clinch.
Dragon is looking to clinch.
A bone on bone clash there as Fino blocks the leg kick.
Dragon misses with a hook.
Fino is looking for a counter combo.
Fino circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've been informed that Dragon has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Dragon shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fino sprawls well. Fino wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Dragon gets slowly back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Dragon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Fino's waist but Fino gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dragon off to one side.
A little feinted left hand from Fino on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Dragon moves out of range as Fino strikes.
Fino throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Dragon tries to clinch there but Fino circles away.
Fino is looking to counter punch.
Dragon tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fino avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fino throws a big counter combination but Dragon scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
Dragon throws a lazy head kick
and Fino counters with a nice uppercut.


It looks like Gruff Dragon has been cut.
Dragon shoots in looking for a takedown but Fino manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Dragon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Gruff Dragon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Dragon tries for a takedown but Fino sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Fino stuffs the takedown.
Dragon should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Dragon seems to be working for a kimura but Fino defends the submission attempt.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Dragon is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Fino is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Dragon is staying tight to Fino's torso, preventing him from escaping.
It looks like Dragon might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Dragon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Dragon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Dragon wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Fino, who protects the arm well.
Fino is trying to escape and get back to his feet.

Dragon looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Dragon wants to control but Fino is keeping him busy.
Fino is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Dragon trying to control the position but Fino is working away.
Fino knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Dragon on the ground.
Fino is trying to buck Dragon off.

The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Dragon tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dragon takes a little break here. Fino wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Fino is pushing Dragon's head away, looking to escape. Dragon manages to hold on to the position though.

Fino on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Fino tries to get out of the position.
Fino is trying to buck Dragon off.

Dragon wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fino keeps working.

Dragon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Fino is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Dragon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Fino defends well and Dragon ends up having to push Fino into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Dragon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Balor Fino has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gruff Dragon.
Dragon tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fino swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Fino waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Dragon.
Dragon has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Dragon fails with an attempt to clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
No luck for Dragon with that takedown attempt.
Fino looks to score with a jab to the body but Dragon is just out of range.
Dragon drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Fino defends it well.
Dragon tried to score with a low kick but Fino checks it.

Dragon takes the fight into the clinch.

Fino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Dragon has taken the fight to the clinch.

Fino breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Dragon bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fino pushes Dragon away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Dragon gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Dragon moves into full mount!

Dragon is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Fino is forced to tap! Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Gruff Dragon!
