The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
York blocks a head kick by Wilson.

Wilson shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

York preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wilson controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
York really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Wilson throws a big right hand that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wilson throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as York works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

York knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Wilson on the ground.

Wilson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Wilson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics York uses from the top position.

Oooooh!!! Wilson has knocked York down with a huge combo! Wilson steps away and waves a wobbly York back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

York is rocked!

It looks like Kermit York has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
York moves out of range as Wilson throws a body kick.
Oh York is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Wilson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent York stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
York is breathing heavily.
Wilson throws an overhand right that has York reeling! Wilson follows up with more punches and York is out cold! This one is all over!
