The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Excellent takedown into side control there by Nguyen.

Bobby throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Nguyen shoots in looking for a takedown. Bobby tries to sprawl out of it but Nguyen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bobby manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bobby wants to counter the offense by Nguyen and move into the clinch position.
Nguyen shoots in and drives through. Bobby sprawls well.

Nguyen gets control of Bobby's arms and successfully pulls guard. Nguyen will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Nguyen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bobby but Bobby pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bobby's coach down at Rabid Reindeer Training was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Bobby's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Nguyen shoots in looking for a takedown but Bobby manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Nguyen's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Nguyen closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bobby's guard.

Nguyen changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Bobby looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Well Bobby has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
