Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Collier (ranked 25179 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chilli Doggo (ranked 5369 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nelson Collier!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chilli Doggo!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Doggo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Doggo takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

Doggo is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Doggo looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Doggo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Collier manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Doggo keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.
Doggo blocks an elbow strike.

Doggo lands a takedown into guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Collier controls Doggo momentarily but Doggo frees himself.
Collier is looking to sweep but instead, Doggo has passed into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Collier is looking to improve his position.
Well, if Doggo is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Collier has hold of Doggo's hands but Doggo slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Collier is looking to improve his position.

Doggo decides to stand up.

Doggo moves into range and clinches up with Collier.
A frustrated look appears on Doggo's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Collier managing to block the knees to the body from Doggo.
Doggo blocks an elbow strike.
Doggo stalling against the cage.
Doggo can't break the clinch.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Collier lands a nice elbow.

Doggo breaks from the clinch.

Doggo closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Collier quickly recovers to half guard.
Collier is doing well to control the position and prevent Doggo from advancing to side control.
Collier is trying to control but can't.
Doggo thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
Doggo is controlling the pace.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Doggo connects with a nice short shot to Collier's temple.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Doggo controlling the action here.

Doggo content to control rather than advance.
Collier wants to improve his position but Doggo is controlling well.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Doggo looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chilli Doggo dominated that round.
That's time! Collier's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Doggo manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Collier on his heels. He'll look to pass Collier's guard now, I'm sure.
Doggo slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Doggo is still trying to improve position.
Doggo wanted to stand there but Collier had control of the position.
Doggo has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Doggo has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Doggo gets to his feet - Collier follows without any prompting.
Collier lands a head kick. Doggo smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
Doggo swats away the attempt to clinch by Collier.

Doggo shoots in and bounces Collier off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Doggo engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Doggo is looking to stand up but Collier won't let him.
Collier controlling the position.
Collier is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Doggo stands up from Collier's guard - Doggo perhaps looking for a knockout.

Doggo throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Collier tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Doggo is in Collier's guard.

Collier pushes Doggo off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Collier shoots in looking for a takedown. Doggo tries to sprawl out of it but Collier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doggo manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Doggo tries a quick counter leg kick but Collier is wise to it.

Doggo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Doggo showed some decent athleticism there.

Doggo seems to be looking for submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Doggo trying to control from half guard but Collier is working away.
Doggo slows the pace down in half guard.

Doggo decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Doggo misses with a head kick.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Doggo misses with a low kick.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Doggo.


Collier is rocked!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chilli Doggo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.



Doggo shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Collier is on queer street and Doggo is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Slam). Chilli Doggo!
