Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tim Buckner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexander David (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alexander David!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Timothy Bukovac.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Buckner gets caught flat footed, as David shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
David throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Buckner works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
David trying to stand up but can't free himself from Buckner's guard.
Buckner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

David must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Buckner pulls David in close to his closed guard and prevents David from doing any damage or advancing position.

David passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Buckner!

Alexander David showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Alexander David comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well David has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
