Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Banana Man (ranked 24447 p4p, 0 weight class) and Natsuki Nattoji (ranked 4513 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Man shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Nattoji regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Man.
Nattoji is trying to control the position but Man postures up.

Man thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Man engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Nattoji has his foot on Man's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Man works his way back into a safe position though.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Nattoji manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Man manages to get himself to full guard.

Nattoji drops back looking for a leg! Man is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Man manages to kick Nattoji off! Nattoji jumps back into Man's guard.

Nattoji drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Man manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Nattoji has Man in his guard.

Nattoji wants to sweep but no luck.

Nattoji lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Man looking to hit a scissor sweep but Nattoji is one step ahead there.

Man is looking for a triangle but Nattoji pushes his legs off easily.
Man wants to sweep here but Nattoji controlling him for the moment.

Nattoji sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Man's guard.
Nattoji has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

Nattoji wants to finish this one by submission but Man is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nattoji.
Nattoji looking to control but Man is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Nattoji swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Man is now in Nattoji's guard. A big mistake from Nattoji there, giving up the dominant position!
Nattoji bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Man's guard.

Man not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Nattoji advances to half guard.
Man knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Nattoji on the ground.

Nattoji with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Nattoji is working for a submission of some sort.
Man wants to control but Nattoji is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Nattoji is looking for a kimura but Man is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nattoji to get the leverage.
Nattoji works his foot free and advances to mount.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Nattoji has control of Man's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Man regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Nattoji is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Man is surviving well by controlling Nattoji's body position as best he can.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Natsuki Nattoji dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Nattoji fails with the takedown
and Man counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Nattoji thinking.

Nattoji changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Man looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Nattoji is looking to take a break and control but Man is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Nattoji swings around for an armbar but Man sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Nattoji's guard.

Man wants to control but Nattoji is keeping him busy.
Nattoji manages to get back to half guard.

Man wants to stand up. He gets to his feet but Nattoji has locked on to a leg, he rolls the pair back to the ground and cranks on Man's ankle. The pair roll once more but Nattoji really cranks it and Man is forced to tap! Great counter grappling from Nattoji!
