Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sang Haley (ranked 5492 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marco Guerrieri (ranked 8193 p4p, 0 weight class). Marco Guerrieri acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Haley slips a jab and a cross from Guerrieri.

Haley closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Guerrieri's guard.

Guerrieri is looking for a triangle here but Haley uses the submission attempt to pass into side control.

Haley is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Guerrieri is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Haley tries to score with some ground and pound. Guerrieri controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Haley tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Haley has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Haley is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Guerrieri has escaped the position, nice work there.

Haley really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Guerrieri manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Haley jumps guard but Guerrieri stands there with Haley around his waist. Haley gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Haley is in close to Guerrieri's body, working some short punches and elbows.

Guerrieri is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Guerrieri really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Haley. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Guerrieri takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Marco Guerrieri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horrible takedown attempt by Haley or perhaps it was just good defense by Guerrieri, which made it look bad.
Guerrieri closes the distance and clinches up with Haley, looking for a takedown. Guerrieri pushes Haley against the cage but Haley circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Guerrieri jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Haley walks away with a smile on his face. Guerrieri gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It seemed like Guerrieri was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Haley lands a right hook to the body.
Guerrieri uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Haley has time to react.

Marco Guerrieri seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Guerrieri rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Haley moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Haley has managed to clinch.

Haley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Haley working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Haley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

That was a close second round but I would say that Sang Haley will probably get the nod.

Haley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Guerrieri's guard.

Haley is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Guerrieri doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Haley.

Guerrieri throws a right and a left that Haley avoids nicely.

Haley turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Sang Haley.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Haley, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
