PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Billy The Bastard (ranked 2115 p4p, 311 weight class) and Vladamir Slamenkov (ranked 3375 p4p, 442 weight class). The Bastard comes to the cage accompanied by King of Kings - Motorhead. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Slamenkov has his takedown stuffed
and The Bastard counters with a nice uppercut.

Slamenkov darts in looking for a takedown but The Bastard gets double underhooks and turns Slamenkov into the cage.
Billy The Bastard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vladamir Slamenkov.

The Bastard forces Slamenkov back against the cage and clinches.
The Bastard pushes Slamenkov back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Slamenkov tries to score a body lock takedown but The Bastard shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
The Bastard lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The Bastard lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Slamenkov is still on wobbly legs! Can The Bastard finish him?
The Bastard tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The Bastard swings wildly with an uppercut but Slamenkov uses good head movement to avoid it.
The Bastard definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
This has been an exciting period of action!

The Bastard lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Slamenkov backwards.
The Bastard lands a hook to the side of the head.
The Bastard lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Slamenkov to his knees! The Bastard keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
