Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Boket Maht (ranked 6022 p4p, 276 weight class) and Hamid Sourian (ranked 5457 p4p, 266 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab lands there for Maht.
Maht ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Sourian closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Maht's guard.

Sourian drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Sourian jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Sourian tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Sourian has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Maht pushes Sourian away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Sourian gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Sourian cracks Maht with a big right hand but Maht just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Sourian has an Americana. Maht didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Sourian is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Sourian hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
