The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trevino's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Trevino enables Jones to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Trevino manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Jones cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Jones takes Trevino's back, avoiding a couple of desperation strikes from the bottom.

A close second round but Justin Jones will probably get the nod - 10:9.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!



Jones has managed to clinch.
Trevino has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Jones blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Jones tries to land knees in the clinch but Trevino avoids the damage to the body.
Trevino keeps control of Jones as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Trevino is trying to break the clinch but Jones has him pressed against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Jones was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Trevino is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Jones tries to stand but can't do so whilst Trevino controls his leg.

Jones trying to mount his opponent but Trevino defends it.

Trevino manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Jones manages to get himself to full guard.

Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Trevino uses it to pass to side control.

Trevino stands up and beckons Jones to his feet.

Jones shoots in and bounces Trevino off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jones takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Trevino pulls Jones in to control the position.
Trevino is trying to control the position but Jones postures up.
Jones trying to control but Trevino is working from the bottom.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Trevino holds on and takes a little breather.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Trevino is on top in guard.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Errol Trevino.
Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
