And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Rizzuto. Those never looked like landing.
Kong throws a lazy right hand but Rizzuto sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Rizzuto uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kong.
Rizzuto pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
A little feinted left hand from Kong on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Rizzuto throws a lazy head kick
and Kong counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rizzuto fails with a takedown attempt.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Rizzuto. Kong shrugs it off though.
Kong displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Rizzuto throws out the jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kong is looking to land body kicks.
Rizzuto shoots in for a takedown but Kong shows good takedown defense.
Kong throwing a counter right hand but Rizzuto manages to avoid it.
Kong lands a slapping body shot.
Rizzuto lunges at Kong with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Kong's hand.
Rizzuto throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Kong on the side of the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kong looks to land a combination but Rizzuto avoids it well.
Rizzuto fails with the takedown.
Krom Kong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alessandro Rizzuto.
Kong throws a left and a right that both miss
and Rizzuto counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Rizzuto has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Rizzuto lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Rizzuto.

Kong is rocked!
Rizzuto grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Kong takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Rizzuto cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
