Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Roman Boesku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Benjamin Kueller!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boesku tries to move into range but Kueller moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.


It looks like Roman Boesku has been cut.
Boesku takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Boesku fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Kueller manages to avoid it.
Kueller pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boesku looks for a takedown but Kueller sprawls well.
Kueller is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Boesku with a body shot.
Kueller tries to clinch there but Boesku circles away.
Boesku misses with a hook. Kueller ducked under it nicely.
Kueller motions for Boesku to come forward. Kueller throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Kueller throws a lazy right hand but Boesku sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A slapping body kick lands there for Kueller.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Boesku.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Kueller keeps Boesku at a distance using the push kick.

Kueller fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Boesku, pushing him back against the cage.
Boesku stalling in the clinch.
Boesku is working for takedown but Kueller is calmly controlling the position for now.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Roman Boesku. That's going to take a lot out of him.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Kueller scores with a shot to the side of Boesku's head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Boesku.
Boesku is looking to break free of the clinch but Kueller has double underhooks.
Kueller working Boesku over with knees to the body.
Boesku is breathing heavily.
Kueller gets through Boesku's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.

Kueller pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Boesku blocks a head kick by Kueller.
Kueller thuds his shin into the meat of Boesku's side.
Kueller looks to land a body kick but Boesku moved away.
Kueller throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Boesku drops his hands momentarily. Kueller doesn't need a second invitation, landing a shot to the temple. Boesku staggers and falls to the mat and the ref dives in to save him from any more punishment. Boesku doesn't seem happy with the stoppage but he was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Benjamin Kueller!
After winning the bout, Benjamin Kueller thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
