Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Wes Pardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wes Pardy!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Williams!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pardy swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams.
Williams is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Pardy scores a takedown into full mount!
Pardy wants to take Williams's back here but Williams is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.
Pardy trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Williams wants to control but Pardy is keeping busy.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pardy turns into Williams and is now in his guard.
Williams trying to keep a closed guard but Pardy is proving a slippery customer.
Pardy wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.
Williams wants to stand up but Pardy is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Pardy throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Williams's waist but Pardy gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pardy off to one side.
Williams keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Pardy looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Williams keeping hold of Pardy's head, controlling as best he can.

Williams manages to escape and get back to his feet!
Pardy looks for a takedown but Williams sprawls well.
Pardy swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams.
Williams is looking to clinch.
Williams wants to clinch up but Pardy keeps it at a distance.

Williams fails to land with a series of punches.
Williams wants to clinch.

Pardy shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Williams throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Pardy trying to control but Williams is working from the bottom.
Pardy controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Williams is trying to keep Pardy in close.
Pardy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Williams not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Williams has his feet on Pardy's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Pardy has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Williams finds it's way round the side to connect with Pardy's head.

Pardy changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Pardy is breathing heavily.

Pardy tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.

Pardy goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Williams rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Pardy's guard! Nice work there by Williams!

Williams stopping the sweep attempt from Pardy.
Williams postures up in Pardy's guard and throws a big left but Pardy blocks it.
Williams has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Pardy is proving hard to escape from.
Williams advances position into side control!
Pardy tries to improve position but can't.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Wes Pardy dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Horrible takedown by Williams or perhaps it was just good defense by Pardy which made him look bad.
Pardy fails with the takedown.

Pardy bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Williams wants to get back to his feet.
Williams sneaks back into half guard.
Williams trying to control but Pardy postures up.
Pardy stops Williams from getting back to his feet.
Williams gets full guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Pardy sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Pardy wants to pass the guard but Williams is keeping the position.

Pardy wants to control from the top but Williams keeps moving.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Williams is on top in guard.
Pardy looking to hit a scissor sweep but Williams is one step ahead there.
Pardy keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully.
Williams wants to stand but Pardy has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Williams drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pardy looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pardy looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pardy!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Pardy has an Americana. Williams didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Pardy is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Pardy hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Wes Pardy!
