Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Fernando Poe Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Austin Pulogrando (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fernando Poe Jr had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 186.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Fernando Poe Jr has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Poe Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Pulogrando throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pulogrando doesn't manage to clinch there - Poe Jr circles away.
Pulogrando misses with a double jab.

Poe Jr clinches.
Pulogrando jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Poe Jr walks away with a smile on his face. Pulogrando gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
A slow jab from Pulogrando misses its intended target.
Poe Jr feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Pulogrando's calf.
Horrible takedown by Pulogrando or perhaps it was just good defense by Poe Jr which made him look bad.
Poe Jr misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Poe Jr throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Pulogrando loads up on a big right hand but Poe Jr slips the punch.
Fernando Poe Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Pulogrando shoots in and drives through. Poe Jr sprawls well.
Fernando Poe Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Austin Pulogrando.
Poe Jr throws a sloppy head kick and Pulogrando moves out of range easily.
Whack! Poe Jr lands a heavy head kick that drops Pulogrando. The ref tackles Poe Jr to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Pulogrando was done.
