The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith moves in looking to clinch but Slade pushes him off.
Smith looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
No luck for Smith with that takedown attempt.
Slade lands a nice looking body shot.
Slade connects with a single shot there.
Oh, that's a big right hand from Slade and Smith goes tumbling to the canvas! Slade follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Smith is rocked!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Slade seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Smith is still in real trouble! Can Slade finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Slade postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Smith to stand up.
Smith seems to have recovered his senses.
Slade missing with a left hand there. Smith was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Slade cracks the inside of Smith's front leg.
Slade pulls out of a head kick attempt.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Slade scoring well with a low kick there.
Slade walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Smith drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Slade swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Smith's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
