The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snyder looks to land a combination but Beast avoids it well.
Beast circles away from the clinch attempt.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Snyder tries to break the clinch but Beast is controlling the position.
Snyder wants to break the clinch but can't.

Snyder lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Beast circles away quickly and effectively.

Cam Snyder seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Beast keeps control of Snyder as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Beast goes for a takedown attempt but Snyder pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Beast wants to clinch

and Snyder holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Snyder wants to break free but Beast has control.

Beast jumps into guard, dragging Snyder to the mat.
Snyder wants to stand but Beast is controlling his posture from full guard.
Beast wants to sweep here but Snyder controlling him for the moment.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Snyder is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Beast has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Snyder is looking to defend but Beast has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Snyder! Beast pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Snyder taps out and this one is all over!
