With a record of 3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mark Hunt!
The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Sam Margolis and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a takedown
and Hunt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Gracie takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Hunt throws a nice looking combination but Gracie bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gracie gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hunt counters with a straight right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Hunt counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kronos Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hunt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Hunt looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Hunt misses with a leg kick.
Hunt scores with a one two! Gracie had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

It looks like Kronos Gracie has been cut.
Hunt throws a leg kick

and Gracie counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hunt!
Gracie in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Gracie seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hunt for as long as he can get away with.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Hunt can do anything to dispel that myth.
Hunt is trying to control Gracie's posture but Gracie avoids it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hunt is looking for a sweep.

Gracie is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Hunt is trying to escape and Gracie transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Hunt is forced to tap! Nice work there by Gracie! Very nice indeed!
