And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

wall has control of RUSSO's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and RUSSO regains control of the situation pretty easily.

paul wall showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

RUSSO working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. wall doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. wall manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

DEAN RUSSO has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
paul wall is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
wall might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control RUSSO kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to DEAN RUSSO.
I think wall has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
