Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Darrel Rojas (ranked 24307 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilo Danilo (ranked 8236 p4p, 221 weight class). Danilo comes into a darkened arena with his song building. How Long Must I Wait kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Ilo Danilo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Danilo throws a sloppy head kick

and Rojas counters with a single leg into guard. Danilo didn't expect that.
Danilo wants to get back to his feet but Rojas passes into half guard.

Rojas stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Danilo to get to his feet.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Danilo.
Danilo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Rojas throws a series of punches but Danilo moves out of range.
Danilo jabs at Rojas's body.

Rojas throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Danilo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rojas is in Danilo's guard.
Danilo wants to get back to his feet but Rojas passes into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rojas scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Rojas working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Rojas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Danilo is trying to escape back to his feet but Rojas uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Danilo looks winded!

Rojas is working Danilo over with some ground and pound from side control.
Rojas in side control lands a decent elbow.
Rojas is chipping away with strikes.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Danilo is looking to get back to his feet here but Rojas is keeping cool and he's managed to take Danilo's back.

Danilo covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.
Rojas is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Danilo up.
Rojas connects with a big shot to the side of Danilo's head.

That has opened up Ilo Danilo's cut even more.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Danilo is covering up but some of the strikes from Rojas are getting through and doing damage.

The cut above Ilo Danilo's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee is taking a good look at Danilo as he is on the wrong end of some big shots from Rojas!

Rojas scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. Danilo is looking for a way out.

Ilo Danilo's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Rojas lands punches and elbows.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ilo Danilo's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
