Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marc Auguste (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ben Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Auguste might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Team Police - Deja Voodoo. Ben Howell has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Marc Auguste's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Marc Auguste!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ben Howell!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, John Mangel and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Auguste throws a nice looking combination but Howell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Howell throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Auguste's waist but Auguste gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Howell off to one side.
Auguste misses with a few strikes there.
A combination from Auguste does no damage.
Auguste throws a nice looking combination but Howell bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Howell shoots for a double leg takedown but Auguste sprawls well. He's pushed Howell's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Auguste misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Auguste fails to land with a series of punches.
Auguste gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Howell advances position into side control!
Auguste prevents Howell from moving into mount.
Howell looks gassed!
Auguste can't do much from the bottom here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Howell is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Auguste knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Auguste is trying to get back to half guard.
Howell should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Auguste is trying to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Some wild striking there from Auguste.
Auguste ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Howell moves away.
Howell shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Auguste is looking to stand up but Howell isn't so interested in that idea.
Howell is stalling in the full guard.
Howell wants to control from the top but Auguste keeps moving.

Howell controls from within his opponent's guard.
Auguste knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Howell on the ground.
Howell drops back looking for a leg! Auguste is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Auguste manages to kick Howell off! Howell jumps back into Auguste's guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Howell drops back, looking for a kneebar! Auguste looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Auguste looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Auguste!
Howell struggling a bit here.
Howell might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Auguste kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Auguste wants to stand but Howell is controlling his arm.
Howell is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ben Howell dominated that round.
That's time! Auguste's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Auguste misses with a two punch combination.
Marc Auguste seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Howell.
Auguste is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Howell has just dragged him back down to the mat.

You can see the frustration on Auguste's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Howell has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Auguste is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Howell yanks on the arm and Auguste is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Howell.
