Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dan Skog (ranked 1760 p4p, 198 weight class) and Jon Snitch (ranked 1492 p4p, 166 weight class). Snitch has chosen I Wanna Rock as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snitch uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Skog.
Snitch closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Skog needs to keep his hands up - Snitch had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Snitch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Snitch working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Snitch might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Snitch in particular looking to stall.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Snitch passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Skog!
