Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Daisku Watanabe (ranked 23364 p4p, 628 weight class) and Hans Hizer (ranked 5011 p4p, 524 weight class). Hizer has chosen Papa as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Hizer counters with a single leg into guard. Watanabe didn't expect that.

Hizer looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Hizer is nestled in close to Watanabe, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Hizer connects with a nice short shot to Watanabe's temple.

Hizer loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Watanabe scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Hizer land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Hizer stands and salutes the crowd.

In his post fight interview, Hans Hizer gave a big smile as he said 'God damn this Gold looks good around my waist. '.
Daisku Watanabe spoke after the fight, saying 'I will be back soon and be back better'.
