The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Reeves closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. McShrooms quickly recovers to half guard.
McShrooms tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Reeves manages to move to mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McShrooms looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
McShrooms looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Reeves cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Reeves loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have McShrooms scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Reeves land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Reeves stands and salutes the crowd.
