The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mano closes the distance and clinches.
Mano scores with a nice hook to the head.
Ellis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Mano swings wildly with an uppercut but Ellis uses good head movement to avoid it.
Mano prevents Ellis from breaking the clinch.
Ellis blocking some punches.
Mano keeps control of Ellis as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Ellis wants a takedown but no success here.
Ellis drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mano working some nice short punches in the clinch.

Mano breaks from the clinch.
Hugo Mano seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ellis throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.

Mano forces Ellis back against the cage and clinches.

Mano has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head and Ellis goes down! Mano dives on top of him - Ellis manages to get guard.

Mano arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Ellis's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
