The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kutaz lands a jab.
Kutaz looks to land a right hand but Pennington moved out of range.
Kutaz swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Kutaz tries to bum rush Pennington with a series of wild strikes but Pennington uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
A body shot lands from Kutaz.
Kutaz lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Pennington backwards.
Kutaz lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Kutaz lands with a right to the head.
Pennington can't find room to land a body shot as Kutaz controls the action.
Kutaz lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Pennington or not.
A left hand lands to the body for Kutaz.
Kutaz tries to throw a body punch but Pennington avoids it by throwing Kutaz back against the cage.
Kutaz scores with a shot to the side of Pennington's head.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Kutaz throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Pennington takes a shot to the head.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Kutaz.
Kutaz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Kutaz scores with a nice hook to the head.
Kutaz lands with a short shot to the head.
Good body shot from Kutaz.
Pennington looks winded!

Kutaz breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Kutaz drops Pennington with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pennington looks back up at him and smiles so Kutaz waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pennington is rocked!
Dirk Kutaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Pennington leaves his chin hanging out and Kutaz seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Pennington crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
