The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hatake throws a right and a left that both miss.
Sloppy strikes from Hatake. Those never looked like landing.

Fleck closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hatake to the mat! Hatake manages to get full guard.
Fleck throwing strikes but missing.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hatake preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Fleck is working Hatake over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Fleck is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fleck accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Fleck has momentary wrist control but Hatake slips an elbow through the middle.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fleck is on top in guard.

Fleck postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Hatake is rocked!

Fleck winds up and cracks Hatake with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Fleck scores with a big shot! Hatake's head bounced off the canvas with a huge thud! More strikes land and the referee has jumped in to save Hatake! He was hurt real bad - good stoppage!
