Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Damya throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Werdm tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Damya is in Werdm's guard.
Damya is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Damya working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Damya is in close to Werdm's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Damya stays in close to Werdm's body and controls the position.
Damya wants to control from the top but Werdm keeps moving.
Damya stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Werdm swivels though and keeps the full guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Werdm is controlling Damya's posture.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Werdm is on top in guard.

Damya on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Damya tries to get out of the position.

Werdm seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Damya tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Werdm tries to free his leg and advance position but Damya is retaining full guard.
Werdm has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Werdm passes Damya's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Werdm tries to pass the half guard into mount. Damya knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Damya is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Werdm pulls his head out easily.
Damya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Werdm on the ground.

Werdm lands with some strikes.
Werdm lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
