Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Mcintyre (ranked 7836 p4p, 0 weight class) and Larry Dowson (ranked 5435 p4p, 0 weight class). Dowson has chosen Desiigner - Panda as his entrance music. Larry Dowson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dowson misses with a combination
and Mcintyre counters with a slapping leg kick.
Dowson will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Dowson fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mcintyre avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Dowson fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Mcintyre to the ground. Dowson is now in Mcintyre's guard.

No joy there for Dowson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Dowson has his foot on Mcintyre's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mcintyre works his way back into a safe position though.

Mcintyre wants to get up but he can't break Dowson's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Mcintyre has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Mcintyre is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Dowson is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Dowson manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mcintyre manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Mcintyre is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Mcintyre is working hard here to advance position.
Dowson postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dowson working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
Dowson is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Dowson stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Dowson shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mcintyre eats them both and turns towards Dowson to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Dowson misses with a series of wild punches.

Dowson shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Mcintyre manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Dowson prevents Mcintyre from getting back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Larry Dowson will probably get the nod.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dowson lands a jab.

Mcintyre is rocked!

Mcintyre tries to keep at a distance but Dowson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Oh Mcintyre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Dowson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Mcintyre takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.

Dowson shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and Dowson slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! Dowson lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Slam). Larry Dowson!
In his post fight interview, Larry Dowson started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
