Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Wilson (ranked 5329 p4p, 539 weight class) and Johnathan Park (ranked 7095 p4p, 604 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wilson clinches.

It looks like Johnathan Park has been cut.

Wilson drops Park with a big knee straight up the middle! Park is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet!

Park is rocked!

Wilson moves into the clinch.
Park is still on wobbly legs! Can Wilson finish him?
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Wilson stops a takedown attempt from Park.
Park tries to score a body lock takedown but Wilson shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Park is looking for a takedown.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Park has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Bill Wilson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnathan Park.
Park tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Wilson just stands there and leans against the cage.
Wilson has Park pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Park is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Wilson - that's hurt Park badly! Oh, another knee lands and Park is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Park doesn't seem to be complaining.
