Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Molokai Built (ranked 874 p4p, 47 weight class) and Santana Blaze (ranked 1993 p4p, 105 weight class). Santana Blaze told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jonathan Paton and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Built scores with a nice strike.
Blaze throws a head kick but Built moves out of range.

and Blaze counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Built stuns Blaze with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Molokai Built seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Blaze is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

That was a close round but I would say that Molokai Built will probably get the nod.

Built breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Built fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Blaze to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Blaze looks to clinch but Built throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Blaze taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

In his post fight interview, Molokai Built started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
