The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yaikulu Kwambiri swats away the attempt to clinch by McShrooms.
Yaikulu Kwambiri appears to be looking for a counter takedown.
McShrooms looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
McShrooms connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Yaikulu Kwambiri momentarily.
Yaikulu Kwambiri clinches.
McShrooms tries to pull guard but Yaikulu Kwambiri forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Yaikulu Kwambiri tightens his grip and picks McShrooms up, before dumping him to the ground. McShrooms manages to land in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Yaikulu Kwambiri trying to control but McShrooms is working from the bottom.
Yaikulu Kwambiri is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Yaikulu Kwambiri slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Yaikulu Kwambiri is working to tighten his grip on McShrooms's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. McShrooms has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Yaikulu Kwambiri is really squeezing tight and eventually McShrooms passes out! Yaikulu Kwambiri breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
