Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Isaiah Thompson!
The judges for this bout are , Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Thompson forces Acosta back against the cage and clinches.
Thompson misses with a punch on the inside.
Acosta throws an elbow but it misses.
Thompson pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Thompson dodges an elbow strike from Acosta.
With the fighters up against the cage, Acosta throws an elbow but misses.

Acosta is trying to pull guard but Thompson turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Acosta slaps away a takedown attempt from Thompson, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Acosta fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Thompson avoids it really well and circles away.

Thompson shoots in looking for a takedown. Acosta tries to sprawl out of it but Thompson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Acosta manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Acosta throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Thompson.

Thompson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Thompson wants it to stay on the feet.

Acosta throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Thompson was covering up waiting for the punch and Acosta finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Thompson manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Acosta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Thompson.
Horrible takedown attempt by Acosta or perhaps it was just good defense by Thompson, which made it look bad.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Thompson has eaten all the pies!
Thompson jumps guard but Acosta stands there with Thompson around his waist. Thompson gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Acosta escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Thompson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Thompson lands a couple of digs.

That was a close second round but I would say that Edwin Acosta will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!
