Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trenton Sloan (ranked 6141 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joseph Vess (ranked 5359 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Trenton Sloan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Daniel Blasius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vess throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Sloan's waist but Sloan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vess off to one side.
Vess shoots in but no luck this time.
Sloan throws a combination that misses
and Vess counters by clinching up.
Vess gets control of Sloan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vess will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Sloan postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Vess has his foot on Sloan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Sloan works his way back into a safe position though.

Vess tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sloan manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Vess bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
The fight stays on the outside here - Sloan looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vess throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Vess dives in and grabs Sloan's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sloan pushes down on Vess's head and hops out.

Well Sloan has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
