Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Tommie Luna (ranked 5296 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diomar Dirksz (ranked 5280 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dirksz throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Luna was covering up waiting for the punch and Dirksz finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Dirksz drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Luna dives on top into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Dirksz manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Luna manages to get himself to full guard.

Dirksz postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Luna is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Dirksz, into his guard.

Dirksz has hold of Luna's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Luna tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dirksz cranks the arm and Luna screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Luna, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
