Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Zachary Tyler (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joaquin Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joaquin Gonzalez will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyler throws a head kick that misses.
Gonzalez misses with a jab, cross combination.
Tyler lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
A head kick from Tyler lands but Gonzalez takes it in his stride.
Tyler throws a nice looking combination but Gonzalez bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Gonzalez shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Tyler pinned against the cage. Tyler gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Tyler drives through and clinches with Gonzalez against the cage.

Gonzalez is trying to trip Tyler. He has hold of a leg but Tyler is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Gonzalez persists though and gets the takedown into guard.

Gonzalez is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Gonzalez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Gonzalez drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Tyler dives on top into guard.

Gonzalez throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Tyler escapes and throws Gonzalez's legs to the side, diving into side control!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Tyler wants to control but Gonzalez is keeping him busy.
Gonzalez tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Tyler gets to mount! Gonzalez was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Gonzalez is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Tyler jumps into side control!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gonzalez is looking to regain half guard here but Tyler keeps moving and retains side control.

That was a close round but I would say that Zachary Tyler will probably get the nod.

Tyler throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Tyler sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Gonzalez misses with a double jab.

Tyler lands a nice looking body kick.
Tyler throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Zachary Tyler is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Tyler pushes Gonzalez away with a front kick.
Tyler lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Tyler throws a front kick that sends Gonzalez stumbling back into the cage.
Tyler lands with a kick to the temple. Gonzalez shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Tyler lands with an overhand left.
Tyler throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Gonzalez sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tyler has closed the distance and engaged Gonzalez in a clinch.
Gonzalez has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Tyler.

Gonzalez prevents Tyler from breaking the clinch.
Tyler wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Gonzalez has him pressed against the cage.
Tyler wants to break the clinch but can't.
Gonzalez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Tyler pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Tyler breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gonzalez takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Tyler turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Tyler takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tyler feints and then cracks Gonzalez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Gonzalez down.
Gonzalez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tyler cracks the inside of Gonzalez's front leg.
Horrible takedown by Gonzalez or perhaps it was just good defense by Tyler which made him look bad.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Tyler throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zachary Tyler will probably get the nod.

Gonzalez escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tyler gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Tyler is sitting in close to Gonzalez's body. Gonzalez has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Tyler is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Tyler is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Gonzalez.
