Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vince Jr Hernandez (ranked 5557 p4p, 0 weight class) and Haisu Kulli (ranked 6887 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hernandez shoots in and bounces Kulli off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kulli is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Hernandez avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Hernandez postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kulli is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Hernandez rolls with it to try and escape but Kulli cranks on the arm and Hernandez is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
