Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Lucky Day (ranked 2805 p4p, 309 weight class) and Knock Out (ranked 2534 p4p, 286 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Out throws a hook to the side of Day's head but Day sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Day throws a looping overhand right but Out ducks down to avoid it.
Day throws a shot from downtown. Out moves away and avoids it.
Day throws a jab but it's blocked by Out.
Day throws a poor cross that misses
and Out counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
A telegraphed right hand from Day misses the target.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Out! But no joy.

Day throws an overhand right that lands on Out's shoulder, as Out tries to avoid the shot.
A jab from Out does it's job there.
Nice uppercut lands for Day. That snapped Out's head back.
Out sizes up Day with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Day is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Out ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Day's jaw. Day's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Out does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
