The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Romero gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows eh to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Romero kicks eh off and gets to his feet.
eh closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Romero wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
eh manages to break the clinch.
eh moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
eh closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

eh throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Romero was covering up waiting for the punch and eh finishes the takedown easily into guard.

eh fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Romero sprawls well initially but eh persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

eh has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Romero is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for eh.

That's time! Romero's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Romero throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. eh tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Romero is in eh's guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now eh is on top in guard.
